The only reason I ask is to get a feel for those of like minded faith that may answer my questions. It seems there is a vast difference in each person, which is fine with me. We may not agree on all points, but we agree on the main issue, Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the ONLY way to get to the Father.

The Bible Doesn't Talk About Lesbians

It doesn't mention lesbians or homesexuality, but it refers to them. See the Old Testament story of Sodom and Gamorrah. The men of the city, thought the angels that were sent to Lot and his family were mere men and "wanted" them. Also see Romans chapter one where it talks about men lieing with men and women with women. It is clear what the subject matter is.

The Bible is not false. There are no contradictions. Yes, there are many translations and words and phrases are left out of some of them. The King James Version is the standard of the Word of God but many use the New International Version. I still study with the King James but also use the Amplified and Message translations.

Even though it may appear that organized Christianity has lost its influence, Christianity (real) has not. God is still God, Jesus is still Lord. Secular humanism is being taught in public schools, prayer is outlawed in schools, athesist protest anything and everything that involves God so people tend to conform (see Romans 12:2)
