By the way. This is no longer a social stigma that needs to be hidden. The last figures that I have seen on this is one in five for women and one in seven for men. Probably higher as the statistics are based upon the 'visable' cases. Therefor there can be no family compleatly free of it. Sunlight helps I believe, and a daily dose is recommended. With the long dark winters of the high Northen latitudes it is apparently seen as a big problem and they are supposed to reccomend U V baths for those people in winter. A positive result of a bout of depression is that it leaves you with a better understanding and a tolerance of your fellow humans, -not likely to use the nasty "Get over it", "get a life", or "Get off yourself", again... Not that I am suggesting that you ever did. Anyway, thinking of you, whoever and wherever you are.

I am not a group but a person recovered from depression. Horrible isnt it?... but quite curable. My doctor explained it to me as a chemical inbalance, which sends distorted messages to your brain. Fortunatly the right ,for you, balanceing agent can be found, -some trial and error may be needed- Don't know where you are at but I suggest to any person in this area; Dont tough it out, talk about it, seek medical help and you can believe it, you WILL get better. Been there, done that!

Einesteinian equasions are reported to show that the speed of light -about 186,000 mps- is the maxim possible velocity and -as photons have mass and are measurably effected by gravity- that this can not be possible. Does E still = mc squared? I am also a bit puzzled by your measurement of the universe in light years and the use of this to gauge it's age. The rate of the measured expansion of the observable universe is certainly below light speed, and has and is measurable, albeit expanding at an increasing rate. The amount of expansion from its beginning has not been able to be measured as a diameter, and indeed cannot. Because of its overall gravitation, it is considered to be infinite. But because of the space curvature effect is bounded within itself. With the event of the creation of Potassium-argon dateing; which revolutionised the field and replaced the old carbon dating method,much sharper focus on the age of fossils is possible. This has shown our oldest known hominid remains to have been alive on earth between six and seven MILLION years ago! (Sahelanthropus tchadensis) You can see why I am a bit confused?

Evolution is an observable fact. can be observed in the study of quickly replicating insects and has been done to study the effect on such things as fruit flies. An experiment that most can try? Try not taking the whole course of an antibotic! The "super bug" which is often the result of this is antibiotic resistant and reproduces like kinds. This evolved "super bug" is a big problem for mankind as the anti biotic resistant strain continues to make antibiotics less and less effective

Darwin did not say that we evolved from apes, but stated that which is easily seen. That apes and humans SHARE a common ancester. The relativly recent discovery of ardipithigus ramidus' skeletal remains (Ardi) 4.4 million years ago. predates 'Lucy' 3.00 million years ago. And -with the now very accurate dating methods, puts us that much closer to finding evidence of this common ancestor, which is belived to have existed at 5-10 million years ago. Our branch shows that we are distinct from the ape but only by a very narrow margin from the branch that is the chimpanzee. Lineage diversion observations show that the D N A split with the Chimp occured 5 - 7 million years ago.
