Believe it or not harnesses and leashes are being made for cats these days. And having owned many cats in my lifetime, you'd probably have to try the aforementioned when they are just babies (kittens) to get them accustomed to it. Otherwise putting a harness on most all adult cats will get you some angry looking, painful scratches if they're not declawed

ole hipster? are you telling me that people in your country actualy de-claw cats? That is the most inhumane thing I have seen on this site. Poor bloody cat, I am dumbfounded. In Australia you are not allowed to dock a dogs tail unless medicaly required, tail broken beyond repair, de-claw a cat. Crikey I thought cat owners loved their cats. Like cats but love dogs. How would the cat owner like their finger nails and toe nails pulled out. But then over that part of the world they trim the ears of doberman dogs, rotten bastards. Sorry but at 79 years of age I can still feel repugnance at the way we treat our "pets" for our convenience.
Well may not be that difficult to put the harness on the cat but might be a completely different isssue if you think you are going to get a cat to walk on a leash good luck with that one.

apparently you don't watch the Animal Planet films that show cats on leashes. in fact, one cross-country truck driver's cat sits in his cabin and when they stop he puts a leash on it and the cat walks in front of him. And that's only one segment of the show.
