      because the bible is the only book written that is inspired by the true and living God.

        I'm sorry carmaxable, I don't understand your answer in light of my question. Are you saying that because God inspired the Bible we must have books of doctrine, the book of Mormon etc.?

        no. im just saying that the true God inspired people to write the bible. every word is inspired by God. the other books were not, they were written by what man thinks he sees.

          Carmazable, Do I conclude from your statement that "the other books", not inspired are not needed? It seemes to me that if a man made doctrine requires more than what the Bible requires, it requires too much. If it requires less than what the Bible requires, it requires too little. And if it requires exactly what the Bible requires, we don't need it because we have the Bible. Do you agree?
