    The blue planet is Neptune!
It is called the blue planet, because it is mostly composed of water.
    Earth.
    Were living on it.
Neptune is known as “blue planet” because of its literally blue color.
The color is largely the result of absorption of red light from methane in the atmosphere, and some gas substance giving the clouds a blue tint.

Thank you. August 11, 2011 - Neptune, the blue planet, will be at its closest approach to Earth and it will be seen fully illuminated by the Sun. Since it is still far from Earth, it appears like a tiny blue dot in the sky but powerful telescopes can capture a better vision.
