If you need an accurate measurement you need an surveyors tape or you can measure your pace (a comfortable stride)average man 3 to 4 feet assuming the field is a square. pace of one side then at a approximate ninety degree turn (corner of the field) pace off the next continuous side. times the measurement against each other and you have a square footage or yardage of the field
