How long does it take for OPM to inform me that my request for survivor's benefit will be ok'd?

Since Jan.2011 I have requested this information and submitted in May my marriage certificate as instructed. What form need they send to me? I completed two forms, 2808 and 2823 but I believe these are not the forms needs to complete my survivor's annuity request. Anyone knows?

The OPM is usually pretty good about things like this.
If there is a Federal Office Building near you they may help.
Also, contact your deceased employer.
