    What kind of special effects were used in the movie Jumanji?

    The animals and all the creatures of Jumanji looked real, but a bit blurry. Also the actor playing the hunter looked blurry, but he was a real actor. Why? And what did they do exactly, because CGI wasn't that advanced in '95.
