When caught, a cheating person will have one of two reactions.
1: True remorse, and they try to do anything to make it up to you.
2: Excuses and reasons for their unfaithfulness.
If their reaction is similar to #1, give them a chance to prove their love.
If he/she is lying about it, I would suggest their reaction reflects #2, and they should be kicked out.
Most likely they did it for self gratification, but don't want to admit it, so say they don't know why...
