In the bank? We are not an investment firm. We can't tell you how to invest it.
you can mail it to me i'm pretty trustworthy, or maybe a local bank.
Lock it into a high interest bank chequing account that these days yields a whopping .5% annually !
With poor interest rates, it's difficult to advise.

Until this economy gets better. At home in a safe place, use the money when it is needed.

    Could not agree more!
Seriously, though, if you haven't paid off your mortgage, I would do that, because for the amount of money you're giving the bank in interest on it, I don't know of anywhere else you can safely get that kind of return on your money.

That's a really good answer, as they would be saving themselves a lot more money, than banks give out in interest if the money was sitting in a bank.
Gold silver and precious metals is one of the most rewarding investments out there at the present time. I suggest you invest about half into gold or what ever precious metal you'd like.

One of my friends invested in gold a few years back and tripled his money. Not to mention when money is doing poorly gold is doing well.
Why not buy yourself a nice car and pick up some good looking guy or chick, and that will be the end of your investment.
