        I am not sure about that. What I do remeber is a trekkie friend making an impressive drawing of Spock and Kirk naked, cuddling.

          Sorry I'm not able to help you with an accurate answer this question.  I kind of think Spock was more "admired" by the good captain.  Notice how Kirk's eyebrows raised whenever Spock spoke.
