The answer that I have heard for the world problems and all that is:
We live in a fallen world since Adam's first sin. That's when God cursed the Earth, and put thorns on things and made man work for his food, also that was the first blood sacrifice, when God made animal skins for them to wear.

The god of this world is Satan, he really is the ruler of this planet, although God will overrule him on certain things, like no you can't hurt that person, etc. etc. But, being that God is omnipotent He has to know what's going on. Not that he condones it, but many times when something terrible happens to us in life, the end result is it makes us much stronger than before.

Not trying to explain the earthquake, just God. When my Dad died I was mad at God for years and years, but eventually I had to accept that everything that God allows is according to His plan.
I don't expect to understand Him, I just do my best to live with the cards I am dealt.

I don't know if that explanation helps???

look at at "job" in the old testament perfect example

yeah leeroy that helped :) good that you believe god's plan is god's plan, so whatever is happening wether a tsunami or an earthquake, it's god's plan from the beginning, exactly what i'm trying to get across here to our friend coco.

    doublehelix

what does it say? could you tell us please :)

    doublehelix

    ??????????

    doublehelix

    what is it?

    doublehelix

awh thanks leeroy, i'll look for it and read it myself. :]

The story of Job, the guy that all the terrible things happen to him. In the end, oh , I don't want to ruin the ending for you. But, all of his friends try to explain why all the bad things were happening in his life. It's a very interesting story.

coco, calm down, i stick to my answer, god is responsible for everything, he is the creator and whatever that happens in this world is his own creation, haven't you ever been told by your mum or someone that GOD HAS WRITTEN EVERYTHING THAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN WAY BEFORE HE HAD CREATED THE WORLD WERE LIVING IN, its already written, already the future is known to him, he is after all GOD. i don't know if your getting the main point or not. plus i never denied the fact that man is not responsible for the war, been influenced by power and greed, your absolutely right on that one. But then again let me ask you; who created that MAN, who created and put that power and greed in his mind, who designed him to be such a man with such a brain, after all a man is a human and a human is weak, and god is all-powerful, so who created that weak human being, isn't it obvious, that god designed him to be such and destined him to such. people say a man is born with free will, i can never understand that statement fully. FREE will to me in this world are just empty words, because the world were living in shows me nothing of freedom, you say free will is the will that a human possesses to either be good or bad, i can understand that part but when you look at the whole picture from outside of your normal perspectives, as a human among billions of others, as a whole, i see that answer as an empty one with no realistic meaning. i'd love to say more and debate, but then again your brain has it's patterned way of thoughts already embedded in and sometimes you think your in control of your life, you think your decision is your decision, but were all copying what hundreds of others before us have said and done and saw it to be the only way, we don't look for OTHER answers and solutions because we've been told there is no other, that what the answer is, it will always be.

YOUR ANSWER TO 'IS GOD RESPONSIBLE FOR JAPAN TSUNAMI'
REALLY YOU TALK A LOT OF BOLLOX..GOD MAKES EVERYTHING HAPPEN YOU SAID..SO THE HOLOCAUST WAS GODS ANSWER TO THE SO CALLED 'JEWISH' PROBLEM?..BUT ITS MANS INHUMANITY TO MAN ETC ETC ETC..LET ME PUT U STRAIGHT ABOUT THIS AND OTHER 'WORLD' PROBLEMS.
JESUS CHRIST WAS GODS ONLY BEGOTTON SON..HE DIED SO MAN CAN LIVE..HE CREATED US TO LIVE AND PROCREATE WHICH WE HAVE DONE ADMIRABLY..ITS MANS GREED FOR POWER THAT IS RESPOSIBLE FOR THE WAR AND UNREST WE ARE LIVING WITH TODAY..GOD GAVE US HIS SON AND LOOK HOW WE HAVE REPAID HIM? WE SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF OUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS..POWER AND GREED..THATS THE WORLD MAN HAS CREATED..YOU MUST BE SO PROUD!

Oh dear so everything is part of god's plan, what a depressing idea.So does that mean it's was ordained that i'd be sitting here answering this question are these my words or god's and i just believe its what i believe.Surely Japan's tsunami was caused by plate tectonics thou i suppose if you believe in god you could say the earth was his creation so therefore what happens here is of his making.Isnt that the same as saying the guy who built the car is responsible for the guy who crashed it.Where does our wonderful gift of free will fit in,whats it worth if we're damned for not towing god's line.Me,I don't believe in the christian, jewish, muslim etc,etc god so think whatever caused the tsunami it wasnt some spurious deitys grand scheme.Maybe it was HAARP??.Of course, maybe these are god's words i'm coming out with afterall.lol !!!!

i'm sorry fastbob if this has offended you in any sense, i did not mean that, i Only stated what my personal mind thinks, you have all the freedom to think otherwise of my ideas. i will not judge you as i have no right to. so how about you share your ideas as well? i'll be sure not to laugh like you did. everybody has their own views of life, that's just how it is. and so far right now i think i'm still sticking to my ideas until one day i'll be proven otherwise. only time will tell. :]

    doublehelix

LIKE you said, you don't believe in god, so your view of life is very different to mine since i DO believe in god. afterall everyone has the freedom to believe in whatever they want. and i'm not here to judge. :]
