What turns people into alcoholics? Alcohol! Let's hear it for marijuana reform!

When a person continually drinks alcohol over a period of time, their body becomes both physically and psychologically addicted to the alcohol. Depending on the individual some people can become alcoholics quickly and some drinkers may never become alcoholics.

I believe drinking to much, to often.

I believe that fear turns one into an addict of any kind different and many kinds of fears. And I hope and pray that each and everyone can become overcomers through Jesus Christ to overcome all addictions and all....

Many things bring it on but the most important thing to know is that you may be starting to have a problem with alcohol Just learn the warning signs

its the same as being addicted to anything! at first it gives you a nice hit/rush/trip etc... but you keep trying to get those original first hit feelings and before you know it, it hurts not to continue.

plus if your world has turned to shit, booze is somewhere for the unable-to-cope to hide and be numb, with obvious consequences.

I think people turn themselves into alcoholics.

Depressed people turn to alcohol to try and feel better, however Alcohol is a depressent and therefore makes matters worse. Best to seek medical help for depression before alcohol takes over.
