Welcome Mammasp, first use your charging lead by inserting in the charging usb on the camera, if you have a iphone use that lead and insert it in the usb on your mac and presto it will upload automatically to Iphotos, when finish uploading just hit import all, and bob's your uncle. PS it will ask you whether you would like to delaete the pphotos in your camera when done.
