      Oh well, since rah-rah saw fit to divulge that bit of information I might as well tell you that the reason that the wand doesn't work properly on Harry is because he is it's proper owner. When Draco performed expelliarmus on Dumbledore's wand he (Draco) became it's owner. Harry took a wand away from Draco. Hence the elder wand now belonged to him. Get it?
