    Why do the professional tennis players bounce the balls before serving?

    to get warmed up; to get set; to get into the mode. to take off some of the anxiety.
    To settle their mind to where they are going to serve and in general keep their concentration.
    So that they know it a tennis ball,and not a basket ball.no that not it? it because if it don't bounce back it probably not a good ball? yes I think that it? Hmm not sure,warm up? could be.
