    can I download a driver for my windows 7 laptop for a cd rom that worked with my previous pc that was XP

    the error msg says the program cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit version of windows. Please contact software vendor to ask if a 64-bit windows compatible version is available. why r there so many problems with this windows 7 and my old cd's?
