My advice that I will share is not to defrag or you will loose info. that helps it run smoothly. Best to uninstall some junk you don't use or need. The computer tech. where I got my computer tells me the same thing, Don't De-- frag. I defragged my old computer so much several years ago that it never did what it originally did when I got it. Now it's on the shelf in a storeage room.
