    Yes, if it's a legal impound and you didn't make your payments or it's being repoed by the bank.
    It can be towed if it's an eye sore or if it's one too many unregistered vehicles on your property. Most towns have an ordinance against too many unregistered vehicles.
    they did to me for being unregistered,(massachusetts)they did give me ample warning which i ignored. they labeld it as abondonded.
    Yes, if it is being reposessed, technically it is not your car! They do need the legal paperwork to do it like Freedom fighter said though. But also, in some states you could go to jail for hindering someone from rightfully retrieving their property...it would be sort of like stealing to keep something that you know is not rightfully yours.
