    My Old English Game Hen hatched a rooster 3 months ago. He has started crowing and now decided that mom is a good looking gal and is trying to mate with her. Is this normal? If they do mate and she hatches chicks, will they be normal?

    Yes.Inbreeding is common in most animals to maintain blood lines.
    Who cares if they are nuts? As long as they are good looking chooks.(That's Aussie slang for chickens).
    Dog breeders have been known to do it & even the British royalty have been rumoured to do it a couple of centuries ago.(& I don't mean with their animals).:)
