Yes.Inbreeding is common in most animals to maintain blood lines.
Who cares if they are nuts? As long as they are good looking chooks.(That's Aussie slang for chickens).
Dog breeders have been known to do it & even the British royalty have been rumoured to do it a couple of centuries ago.(& I don't mean with their animals).:)
