I took my girlfriend to a local college that had a fireworks show synchronized to a live orchestra, it was way cool.

NICE!!! They do something similas at Stone Mountian in GA.

It was very romantic, we brought a blanket and just laid there listening, talking, and watching, it was the best time I've ever had at a fireworks show, as an adult anyway. I really enjoyed them as a kid going to the beach with my family.

Make a big memorable weekend out of it by taking him/her to Canada for your northern neighbor's version of "Independence Day" (July 1st) and wind it down back home for the 4th.
