I also have an all in one printer. I believe the problem you are experiencing is because you turn the printer off. When you shut your computer down at night the printer will put itself into sleep mode, you don't need to turn it off. The alignment page will then be eliminated and you won't waste so much paper and ink. The printer should remind you when you need to replenish the toner cartridges.
