Sounds like your internet connection has gone awry so shut everything down for a reboot and be sure you are connected! Try sending mail again...and do save the draft before re-booting.

lindilou - hey this guy Cliff posted this question three years ago - did you notice?
lindilou - I also got a page up 404. People were giving me thumbs up for something and I tried to get onto the page from several TU's and got 404. By the way I gave you a thumbs up which was accidentally down tried to correct this but it just got worse - came out even but could not TU after this.
How very strange?! 404s are deleted questions, usually deleted for some silliness or another or because the same question was repeated several times... that may be why! :)
