Und wenn ich mich vor Dir niederwerfen wuerde und weinen und erzaehlen, was wuesstest Du von mir mehr als von der Hoelle, wenn Dir jemand erzaehlt, sie ist heiss und fuerchterlich. Schon darum sollten wir Menschen voreinander so ehrfuerchtig, so nachdenklich ...stehen, wie vor dem Eingang zur Hoelle.

And if I prostrate myself before you and would cry and tell what you knew of me as more of the hell, if someone tells you it is hot and terrible. For that reason alone we should be so awesome people for each other, are so thoughtful ... like the entrance to hell.

I think it is poetry too. She is just making statements but is not asking a question.Does not make much sense!

hello ann, my first question is a poem from franz kafka, it just touched me deepley, ( if you believe god, you have to believe hell) knowing that we not far away from hell or heaven we are so mean, rude, hatfull, to eachother, plus i just wanted that someone else read it too,and see the respond of it,one sad sad respond, by one person,arbeit macht frei, wich hitler had on the entrance of Kz, that comment where made because franz kafka was a jew, sad
