        This is a moral question as well as a medicail one... No one glass of wine before you are even put onm the list is ok... However you have to be prepared to not drink after the trans at all... Keep in mind someone is giving you the gift of life by letting go of thier loved one. Respect the rules... They are their to keep you and your donors heart heathly.

          My DR. told me a few days before bypass surgery WINE can be like a double edge sword when you have heart problems "It can cut both direction" so, yes like leeroy stated "ASK" your Doc.
