      Calomine lotion is good for treating hives,and it is not exspensive.

        Antihistamines (like cold medicine) is the easiest and fastest way to treat hives. They usually will go away in a day. When I have had them they will appear on the upper part of my body and when those start to disappear they will appear on the lower part of my body. If you go to the doctor they will give you a shot to help, but it's cheaper to get some cold medicine and use that instead.
