          Try Ancestry .com.au There is a charge for the service but you can have a look and see if it is what you want.
          Would you do a old Aussie a favour? Please use capital letters for proper nouns eg Sydney Australia. Touchy I know but be proud to be a Aussie.

          I lived in Sydney from 1942----1964. Got my driving licence at Parramatta 1949. Lived Guildford, Merrylands, Westmead, Toongabbie. Now in Queensland.
