    You can handle it at the IRS if you want to trust them. An accountant or lawyer will get you more money though, they know the tax codes and can get you more money, because they know all the loopholes. Estate attorneys specialize in this type of thing. But an accountant may be cheaper. Whoever you choose, make sure they come highly recommended. Good luck, sorry to hear about your loss.
