It depends on what you are running. Try using an external hard drive to save any programes then remove it from your computer. Now delete what you want. See if that speeds it up. Do you have movies, music or lot's of photos taking up memory. Put them on the other hard drive too. That should speed it up quite a bit. Hope it helps
