As a diabetic I was told to not soak my feet in warm water.
I believe the reason is because you lose feeling in your feet and will put them in water that is to hot.

I have the same problem. A good skin cream is about all you can do, caused by bad circulation. Vit. E may help also.

How about a nice warm foot bath,soak your feet in warm water with some baby oil added, and when going to bed apply a good foot cream and wear a pair of socks.

Me too, I rub the hard skin with very coarse sandpaper until smooth. I then apply a cream containing urea daily.

A great way to soften feet is to file/sand off hard dry bits whilst your feet are still dry. This may take some time but is worth the effort. Then make up a foot scrub with coarse salt (not too coarse as you will struggle to use it) and a rich hair conditioner. Apply with a mit and really rub into the dry areas. you can leave it on for a bit afterwards - then rinse and dry well. Apply a good rich cream and if need be a pair of socks to allow the cream to soak in. You can leave the socks on over noght for more effect. Works very well.
