I assume you mean "separate" and "catalytic." And the answer is you can not - without very specialized equipment and a lot of money, specialized equipment, and truckloads of old catalytic converters. It is true there is gold and other precious metals in catalytic converters (also platinum and rhodium/paladium), but the amount is very small and is incorporated into the honeycome structure inside. You need very expensive and specialized equipment to get the metals out, separate, and purify them. This is very expensive, and then it takes thousands and thousands of converters to even approach breaking even. The actual process is way to long and complicated to describe here.
