      Chlorine bleach, or bleach products like Tilex are the only products that will lighten the color of the mold roots. No matter what you do(cleaning wise) you can't get rid of the roots they're to small.

      Well peroxide will bleach out the color as well, but it's harder to find.

            their are lots of sprays you can buy for mildew in showers at your local supermarket
