    Which to use in a manuscript, OK or okay?

    My High School English Teacher, rest her soul, would kill me if I sent in a manuscript that said OK. If it is a word, don't abbreviate it. (Unless it is part of someone's colloquial speech within manuscript.)

    Thank you. That is how I feel. I'm mentioning it to the book editors so will she what she does with the word. I found I had used it both ways within the same manuscript and I think it should all the the same. We will see what she does... Again, thanks MaryMary.
