I have always looked forward to seeing my beloved animals in heaven. But recently I have been told that this is not possible. I have been told this is because animals do not have souls. I have also been shown in the bible where it says that in order to go to heaven we must complete 5 steps. #1 hear the word #2 believe the word #3 Repent of our sins #4 confess Jesus is Lord #5 Be baptized And.........Since an animal cannot comply with any of the above then they will not be in heaven. I still am not convinced that this will be so, and I hope it is wrong because I have loved all my animals and I want to see them in heaven as much as the next person does. I think this is one of those subjects that could be debated for eternity(or till the second coming).

The vast majority of resurections will not occur in heaven but right here on earth. Only humans are destined for everlasting life providing they qualify by keeping all that God commands.
We will still have animal pets but they will continue to die.
