Does a 9 month (career college) educational course in medical coding really prepare you for work in today's econom\y? Advice? (I have MA & BA in medical anthropology & have been a "professional patient" over the years...)

    I'm thinking of a fall-back job as I pursue a career-oriented job in anthropology/ciommunity planning

I don't believe that any college education can prepare anyone for REAL LIFE. That is something that you have to experience all on your own and learn from it each time it knocks you down.

You could have five backup jobs lined up "just in case" and in these hard times you may need to use all of them just to make ends meet, because there just isn't a job or perhaps a full time job out there for you and your college education.

    Good luck!
