      first try your credit union. they're the least expensive. make certain no one charges penalties for early payments, etc. do not pay anything extra to "pay down" twice monthly payments. it's a ripoff. you may have to make a down payment to qualify.

        Call around to a few Realtors. Many put on free seminars on how to buy a house.
