I testified at his trial. He along with John Artis were accused of a triple murder when they were refused service at a local bar. You have to remember in 1967 racial tensions were high. They knew they entered a "White bar". They were served one drink and became obstinate, the bar tender asked them to leave, an argument ensued and they left and shortly returned armed and proceeded to kill several people. I witnessed them running from the bar and testified to that in court. Selwin Rahb wrote a book in regards to the trial and made all who testified against them appear to be liars. Mohammad Ali, Bob Dylan were there for the "Cause". They didn't see them running with rifle in hand from the bar. I did.
