      If it stays on after you have started the engine, it means you have low oil pressure. Check your dipstick you dipstick.

        THANK YOU HARRY. I CAN ASSURE YOU I AM NO DIPSTICK! THE VEHICLE IN QUESTION IS THE ONLY ONE IN THE COUNTRY, AND CANNOT GET A MANUAL FOR IT. I WENT TO TOYOTA MK AND THEY TOLD ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AFORESAID AND THE RED ICON OIL CAN. THANKS ANYWAY. COLONEL.

            Your either low on oil or have a bad oil pump. Do not start the engine. You will blow it up. Big $$$$.

            All the dash lights come on just before you start the engine. If any of the lights do not go off after you've started your engine, then there's a problem. ;)

            Sometimes it's a maintenance problem, you can take it to a mechanic and he can diagnose it on the computer. If there are no problems they can just reset the light. Most likely it's just a maintenance thing that pops up every so many miles.
