1. Order food (not fast food) from a nice sitdown establishment and pick the order up when it's ready.
2. If you have the money, hire a chef for the evening.
3. There are companies that make homemade meals, package and then freeze them. Some of them will deliver straight to your door. All you have to do is pop the main course and the sides in the oven to heat. Your guests will have no idea that you didn't prepare the meal from scratch all by yourself.
4. Prepare the meals a few days in advance then freeze.
