laptop = biger screen. more power, used for larger tasks
netbook = small screen, low power, long battery life, only good for surfing web and other normal activities
tablet pc = small-medium screen, medium power, touchscreen with a keyboard, used for design in many cases
tablet = low power, touchscreen, not very useful except to read and check internet
