In order to transfer your contacts from Google mail to Yahoo beta, Login into your Yahoo beta mail account, click on the "contacts" tab, then click on the "import contacts" from the right side of the "contacts" menu and then choose "Gmail". It will then ask you to login into your Gmail account. Once you do that that you'll be able to import all the contacts from your Gmail acoount.
