Between 2 and 3 is normal. Your doctor should have advised you on new dosing to correct problem when the result came back to high.

You should be between two and three for the prevention of clotting.
3.4 is too high as it means you blood is to thin with the danger if you get a cut it will be hard to stop.

It is not criticaly high but high non the less. You should be getting monitered at least every three weeks and if you are not talk to your doctor.

4.5 mg of warfarin daily is reasonably high, I take 4mg one day and 3.5mg the next alternating and my reading is 2.4 but the next time the dosage may change.

Mine is good at 2.5. 2 is borderline. I'm on coumadin. tests every two to three weeks.
