    what can prevent sea sickness?

    i would like to go ocean fishing. but i get sea sick.

    Ginger can help with stomach upset. You could sip on ginger ale or ginger tea, or eat candied ginger. You can get some wrist bands that work for motion sickness, likely would work the same for sea sickness.
    Eat creamed rice..........It wont stop you being sick but it looks a lot cleaner on the deck..lol sorry

    I've been fishing in the ocean several times when, I lived in FL and have never gotten seasick but, of course, I was fishing from shore. lol
    I used to be exactly the same, however do try Avomine tablets - they really do work - honest! Also try to keep to the middle of the boat & look at the horizon on a regular basis. But really, the Avomine tablets work.
    Bonine or Dramamine. I've been taking one or the other since I was 4 ---when going on a long trip.
    You can do all of the above but also try moving with the ship or boat. The best I can put to words is to get loose legs, float with the boat, Sea legs, Somebody might be able to explain this better.
