I shut down my computer, then I shut down my modem (which has a router attached to it). Then restart everything back up in reverse order I shut them down.

There is a reset button on the router and the modem, you may have to look around because no two are alike. They are very small buttons and you may need to push them in with a pencil tip.

If you don't get the results you are looking for the first time, shut everything down again, this time hit the reset button on the router and the modem before turning them back on, then turn the computer back on.
