I use Windows XP and have MSN email address. when I forward email with attachments or pictures they don't go through or open.

When I recieve email with pictures, the only way to open them is to click on forward, then they open when the screen opens up to forward the email. When I send them on to email contacts they won't open for them. What is wrong with them?
