Very few teens die from hard athletic activity. My son has had three seizures the last three years. No reason has been found why. We let him play any sport. Works out and eats healthy. He is only 15 and out performs the seniors he plays sports with. Swimming seems to me to be less contact injuries than anything else. But then, #$%^ happens. After all the tests we have been through , it cant say playing sports is dangerous for him.
