You know those fancy chickens that come in the really funky colors, well so do their eggs. Blue or green. Really wild.
Bantum chickens if I remember right...they lay pastel colored eggs, yellow, blue, green and pink I think. Lotta years ago. We had them on our farm.

Right again Colleen and 6dogs4us. My sister has several varieties of chickens on her ranch. They have really cool eggs in pretty pastel colors. The yolks are very orange because they are range fed and boy are they yummy - the eggs not the chickens. She made the mistake of naming some of them and now can't bring herself to eat them. She quit naming her cows when her husband put his foot down - it is their bread and butter so to speak.
    no there are other colors
Birds eggs as opposed to fowl eggs come in lots of colours, plain and speckled. Emu eggs are a bluish green with a very thick shell and in fact people carve pictures on them.
    chicken eggs do.
On a chicken, if you look just above their ears, you can see a small coloured shape. That shape, determines what colour egg it will lay.
THERE ARE DEFINITELY BLUE EGGS, AND SURE LOTS OF OTHER COLOURS.
