It's a movie depicting the many facets of the human spirit, overcoming adversity....and all that life throws at you. It's an awesome movie, and would enjoy watching it again myself. That was a time when everyone in uniform was the bad guy, when all they were trying to do is survive what life threw at them...and he happened to step up and above it all...and brought Captain Dan along with him...no legs and all!

The green mile, probably because I live in the country,TV here is not good , know it off by heart don't have to concentrate and its become as good as any sleeping pill Ive taken

You watch it b/c it makes you feel good. I've watched Gone With the Wind at least 15 times, adn read the book 5 times. My sister in law used to run the video , '' On Golden Pond'' so many times,that it finally made their son sick. LOL She used to always play '' The Godfather '' and '' Butch Cassidy and teh Sundance Kid" a lot.
