    Several months to years, depending on how complex the Will is.

    Depends if a Solicitor is lodging the probate/letters of administration or a member of the public - if the latter then it could take longer as this would involve a personal interview - it could also depend on the time of year, winter probates take longer because of volume in the probate registries - if you are asking once the probate is issued how long, that depends on the size of the estate, the complexity and the speed the Solicitor handles the matter
